Education Club Copy
The Education Club allows UMACHA Members to purchase tokens at a discount from standard member pricing and then use those tokens on eligible purchases during a calendar year. Please review this entire page prior to purchasing tokens, including our Frequently Asked Questions section at the bottom of this page.

Finding yourself a few tokens short but don't need to purchase a full tier? Extra Credit Tokens help ensure your staff gets the education they want and your tokens will never go to waste.
General Token Eligibility:
* Events not hosted solely by UMACHA may be ineligible for Education Club Token usage. The above table does not address all eligible & ineligible events. Please review the Details section for an event or recording to determine token eligibility.

Yes. Any staff member with a UMACHA profile that is linked to the member organization may use purchased tokens. Regardless of which user has purchased them, tokens are stored within the profile of the purchasing organization rather than the profile of the purchasing individual.

Example: Jane works for ABC Bank & purchases the Junior Tier from UMACHA’s Education Club. Jon, also an employee at ABC Bank, can view & use the ABC Bank tokens purchased by Jane.

Because UMACHA does not manage or monitor an organization’s token use, we encourage the key contact of the organization to develop & communicate a token-usage policy with staff to outline an internal approval process for token use. UMACHA will not reimburse an organization for tokens used by a staff member without the key contact or organization’s permission.

Yes. When completing the checkout process, you will be prompted to select the year in which the tokens may be used. Purchasers may choose the current year, the following year, or the year after that.

Example: Jane has just learned about the Education Club in December of 2023. Jane does not believe her team will be able to take advantage of any of the tiers in 2023, but wants to purchase a tier now for usage in 2024. Jane purchases the Senior Tier in 2023 & designates their usage for 2024 during checkout.

Yes. Tokens received for a calendar year will expire at 11:59pm of 12/31/202X of the respective calendar year. Unused tokens are non-refundable.

Example: Jane purchased the Sophomore Tier & obtained 12 tokens for use by her financial institution. She elected to assign the tokens for use in calendar year 2023. As of December 27th, 2023, Jane & her staff have used only 9 of their 12 tokens. If they fail to use the remaining tokens by December 31st, 2023, the three remaining tokens will be lost.

No. If a member is wishing to purchase some tokens for the current year & some tokens in advance for a future year, we recommend splitting this up into two separate orders.

Yes. The description/details for a webinar, event or on-demand recording indicates the number of tokens required for purchase or if tokens are ineligible for use.

No. To complete a purchase, an eligible event/product must be purchased entirely with tokens or entirely with monetary funds.

Example: Dave wants to use his 2 remaining tokens for 2023 on an on-demand webinar that costs 3 tokens. Dave cannot use his 2 tokens & then apply the remainder to his credit card. Dave will either need to purchase a single Extra Credit Token to bring his token balance to 3 tokens, or complete the purchase using his credit card without the use of his 2 tokens.
