INVITATION: Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis

FS-ISAC Cyber Range Based Ransomware Exercise

S-ISAC is partnered with ManTech – a large, experienced provider of cyber range exercises – to build an environment resembling a financial services network and to facilitate a realistic, live-fire cyber-attack against the simulated financial services network. You or your institution’s security analysts are tasked with detecting, responding to and defending against the attack. Experts will be on-site to answer questions and explain the scenario. Defenders (exercise registrants) may participate in person or remotely from their home or office.

To maximize the learning experience and engagement, the exercise is limited to 30 people and organized into 5 to 6 teams based on complimentary skill levels.

What: Test your mettle against a Ransomware scenario in an financial institution-like environment.

Who: Skill levels vary; however, some network defender experience is required. Please review our video for an overview of the activities.

When: August 8, 2019, from 9:00am to 3:30pm. Refreshments and lunch will be provided; onsite participants must bring their own laptop and everyone will be required to pre-test their access to the browser-based VDI portal through which the event will be conducted.

Where: Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, 90 Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55401

Cost: $995 per person for FS-ISAC members; $1,295 for FS-ISAC non-members.
